چکیده

Supercritical carbon dioxide injection in tight reservoirs is an efficient and prominent enhanced gas recovery method, as it can be more mobilized low-permeable due to its molecular size. This paper aimed perform a set of laboratory experiments evaluate the impacts permeability water saturation on recovery, storage capacity, content during supercritical injection. It observed that provides higher increase after depletion drive mechanism carried out low permeable core samples. corresponds feasible mobilization phase through smaller pores. The maximum for samples with 0.1 mD about 22.5%, while has lower values permeability. 19.8%, 15.3%, 12.1%, 10.9% 0.22, 0.36, 0.54, 0.78 permeability, respectively. Moreover, saturations would crucial factor enhancement, especially final pore volume injection, dissolving water, leading displacement efficiency. minimum 50%, 38% mD. By decreasing from 0.65 0.15, less involved therefore, capacity increases. indicative proper front factor. findings this study help better understanding production parameters affect reservoirs.

Enhanced Gas Recovery with Carbon Dioxide Sequestration in a Water-drive Gas Condensate Reservoir: a Case Study in a Real Gas Field

Gas reservoirs usually have high recovery due to high mobility and low residual gas saturation, although some of them producing under water-drive mechanism have low recovery efficiency. Encroachment of water into these reservoirs traps considerable amount of gas and increases the maximum residual gas saturation, which results in the reduction of gas and condensate production. Generally, the rec...

Toward a Thorough Approach to Predicting Klinkenberg Permeability in a Tight Gas Reservoir: A Comparative Study

Klinkenberg permeability is an important parameter in tight gas reservoirs. There are conventional methods for determining it, but these methods depend on core permeability. Cores are few in number, but well logs are usually accessible for all wells and provide continuous information. In this regard, regression methods have been used to achieve reliable relations between log readings and Klinke...
